I have traveled all around (up to 8 hrs) to see him and it would be nice to travel just 8 min! Rupp Arena has an atmosphere like no other no matter what kind of event you are there to see....and of course nothing beats basketball in Rupp. I recently attended the Brad Paisley concert and had a great time, it was a great show.

I have been to several events at Rupp. I attended my first concert there, the Dixie Chicks, in 2000. Since then I have seen Kenny Chesney (several times), Montgomery Gentry, Martina McBride, Allan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland, Toby Keith, Dierks Bentley, and Keith Urban to name a few. I have also attended many UK games, which are always amazing and full of excitement. The circus has been fun the couple of times I have been. And of course, nothing compares to the year we had lower arena (row F!) season basketball tickets...and the atmosphere when we beat Florida at home in 2002. My family and I have attended several events at Rupp including Disney on Ice, The Rockettes, Circus, the Miley Cyrus concert, and more but I have to say the MY MOST MEMORABLE EVENT WAS THE NIGHT MY HUSBAND PROPOSED TO ME AT A THOURGHBREDS HOCKEY GAME 10 YEARS AGO. I always wanted a t-shirt from the Bud Ice Patrol however that night they made a memory for me I would never forget. The t-shirt I got from them has "Will you marry me on it". Thanks Rupp for the memory! We attended a lot of hockey games and was sad to see them go and would loved to have them back. Now we have a 5 year old who loves Taylor Swift and would love to win tickets for her.

I attended both the Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley concerts this year and had a great time at both! Rupp is a great venue for concerts, and I look forward to attending more concerts, events, etc. in the future. A guest that I would love to see come to Rupp is Jerry Seinfeld. He came to the Louisville Palace last year and was very entertaining! The Palace was packed. Rupp may be too big of a venue for him, but if it could be trimmed down in size like it was for the Dierks concert, it might be perfect for him!

It's not just the shows that make it great. Some of the employees have been there for years always taking care of the crowds. Kudos to the employees at Rupp!!!!

Lexington had just had a big ice storm and my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I decided to brave the ice and go anyway, and we were so glad we did. I have a tie between my favorite events at Rupp. The first being The Radio City Rockettes this past December. They were AMAZING and now my career goal is to be a rockette. The other was the Linkin Park/Coheed and Cambria/Chiodos show February 25, 2008. I wear the shirt Chiodos signed for me there once a year, [feb.25 hah]. Both events were awesome, and I really would like to see Taylor Swift! I mean who wouldn't?(: . I think Lil Wayne should come to Rupp Arena. Either him or Pitbull. That'd be good.

I think my favorite concert would have to be Cher. I've enjoyed many, many concerts there, and up until last year, really enjoyed Toyota's perfect attendance parties there, as well. I also took my son a couple of years ago to see Miley Cyrus, and I really appreciated the conference room that was set up for the parents, so more kids could attend the event. The parents were even allowed to go to get their kids just before the concert ended, so they wouldn't get lost. Thanks Rupp.

I have been attending events, mainly UK basketball games, in Rupp Arena for some 30 years now. I think outside of the games, the most memorable time in Rupp was 3 straight nights of Garth Brooks. Each night was a little different show, with Sunday night being SO cool. Garth came out at the end and sat down onstage with just his guitar and sang a couple tunes, including Alabama Clay. I think Rupp is one of the better big venues for concerts and I hope acts continue to be drawn to Lexington.

When I took my daughter to her first ever concert, it was to Rupp to see Kenny Chesney. We were happy enough with our lower level seats, but there was a blimp flying overhead dropping out envelopes. After Sugarland played, my daughter caught an envelope! We were then able to go right up to the stage where we saw Dierks Bentley and Kenny Chesney. I will never forget that night. It was awesome to see the crowds of people and I did my best to soak in the feeling of being so close and the energy of all the people there. My favorite concert at Rupp has been George Strait in 2008, because I took my mom and it made twenty-two years since she watched King George at Rupp and in 1986 she was also very pregnant with me, it was just something special for both of us and George puts on a fantastic show. I also saw George before this concert when he brought Taylor Swift along with him and Ronnie Milsap, she was just starting, Tim Mcgraw was her big hit at the time and after the show she stood near the merchandise stand to meet everyone who wanted an autograph or picture, it's amazing to see her headline her own tour, it'd be great to see what she learned from those she opened for, including George. :)

I love all the UK games of course, Blue and white night was the best, seeing my three year old at the time, eyes light up to see the players up close was awesome. My other daughter 7 got to see the Jonas Brothers and Jorin Sparks and that was enough to make a moms heart glow with excitment. But my most memorable time at Rupp arena was in 2001 WWF was there and for the first time I got to see some child hood heroes on stage and things that I had grown up with come to life. It was my first year in college and at UK no less and I dragged my soon to be husband to his first wrestling event. To be in Rupp Arena a place of greatness not only for UK basketball and all of its history but also a place of great concerts and family outings. It was magical and one again an awesome experience. GO CATS!!!! I would love to see Brooks and Dunn, Eric Clapton, or The Eagles if they were to ever tour down this way!

I think Rupp Arena is an awesome place. They have just about anything for anyone who wants to go there, from basketball games to rodeos to gospel concerts and all the entertainment options in between.

It always feels like a grand atmosphere when you just go inside the place. I am glad Lexington has such a place for us to go to see people and things a lot of us might not get to see otherwise if we had to travel to another city.

My favorite memory in Rupp was when UK play North Carolina and Prince came out and scored the first 15 points of the game with 5 three pointers. Rupp was really rockin' - the most excitement and loudest crowd I ever heard in Rupp. 2nd would be Alan Jackson and Alabama concerts and then all UK basketball games are great. I love the CATS!!! Go Blue!

My favorite Rupp Arena event was George Strait. My grown daughter really loves him, and she lives in Ohio. We do not get to spend too much quality time together any more. I bought the tickets and she came down to go with me. It was such a good time. I enjoyed the fact that he has his stage set up to allow everyone in the arena a chance to see his performance. Great show - one I will never forget!

My first UK basketball game was pretty awesome. Another of my favorite shows that I have seen at Rupp was Winter Jam 2008. It was an awesome experience to share with my family and friends and I believe that is what Rupp is all about, sharing experiences with our favorite people. Lexington, and us people of Kentucky are so fortunate to have Rupp Arena.

There have been lots of great memories at Rupp. By far out of the all the concerts and events that I have attended Sugarland's concert in October 2008 had to be by far the best yet! The filmed the whole concert live and had music videos from the concert; it was Awesome! I was a few rows back from where Kristian Bush gave away his guitar! Oh and I must say- Tim McGraw here I come on Friday...and Disney on Ice March 25th.

I have several memories from Rupp Arena, but my favorite would have to be the Tim McGraw concert in 2006, I think. I went to the concert with some friends and we had an awesome time. We went to Redmonds after the concert and one of the girls I was with realized she left her camera in Rupp. She ran back over to Rupp to see if she could find it, but it was gone. Well, 6 month after the concert we were in Chinoe Pub and a random girl came up to my husband and said "Hey I have pictures of you from the Tim McGraw concert". Confused as to why some random would have pictures of him, he came over to us and told us the what had happened. None of us thought anything of it at first and then out of the blue my friend yells "my camera!" Sure enough, this girl had found my friends camera and had developed the pictures and just happened to have the pics with her that night. So, 6 months after the concert my friend got her pics from the Tim McGraw concert from some random girl that found her camera. Crazy huh? I think it has something to do with Rupp Arena luck! GO CATS!
P.S. I would love to take my niece to see Taylor Swift... she just told me Saturday how much she loves her. I promise not to lose my camera.

every memory i have at rupp as been something i can never forget. my graduation, attending the miley cyrus/metro station concert with my little brothers (it was the first concert i took them too and they had a blast), and the circus for my youngest brothers birthday, where we had a whole row of guests with us to celebrate his 10th birthday. i cant decide which is my favorite because they are all very meaningful to me. :) i would love if the jonas brothers came back, i missed that concert.

There is nothing in the world like the "Big Bertha" speaker system hanging down in the middle of Rupp. The first time I took our kids, our six year old saw it and was too scared to go to our seats. We had to watch the first 30 minutes from the concourse! At nineteen he's over that now. The only thing he is scared of now is that Wall and Cousins will both have an off night at the same time!

We are huge fans but what really made it so awesome was it happened to be the last game I was able to go to with my grand-dad who past away with cancer. So it was by far the best. I would love to see a big name rock show come to Rupp. Someone like Kiss would be perfect. They always put a great show on and always attract large crowds. Rupp has done a great job lately of attracting great shows for teen age kids. We then went to see the Cheetah Girls the following year...again, what an awesome show & experience! They engaged the audiance and even took time read the posters from the fans, which brought more screams!! Wish more perforers could use the center stage layout and connect with the audiance like they did. It was a great concert, my daughters had an amazing time (and so did I)!

My family and I have been attending Rupp Arena Events for years! Anytime there was anything at Rupp for children we took the kids. We took them to stuff like Disney on Ice, Sesame Street on Ice, and the Circus. When I have grandchildren I'll be able to take them. We also went to see people like Franklin Graham and we got to hear Kirk Franklin, and Michael W. Smith. I love all the contemporary concerts you've held with people like; Three Days Grace, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, and Flyleaf. My oldest daughter just went and saw Brad Pasley and Miranda Lambert. She loved it! She's been to several concerts there with friends. My middle child (Cindy) however, hasn't been to many. She's worked really hard this year to get her grades up and I would love to send her to Taylor's concert. Talyor seems like a nice young lady from what I've seen on TV. Thank you SO much Rupp Arena for being a part of our families lives and helping us to create wonderful memories.

I've enjoyed many things at Rupp. However, I think one of the best memories that I have of Rupp is in 1994 when Tates Creek High school was playing in the sweet 16. That place was so loud and everyone had a great time.

My most memorable experience at Rupp Arena was my very first concert ever. I saw Rod Stewart during his Young Turks tour in 1982. He wore those hot pink skin tight satin pants. My boyfriend took me for my birthday present. I even caught one of the frisbees that he threw into the crowd that night. That was the one of the most exciting things I'd ever experienced up until that point in my life. I even still have the T-shirt he bought me that night. Its been more than 25 years since that night and I still remember every minute.

The best concert I ever saw at Rupp Arena has to be the time I went to see Aerosmith. We got there and went inside and we were all waiting to get inside the arena and a man came out and said, "Aerosmith has cancelled the night's performance and won't be rescheduling it." Then because I bought the tickets on ebay I coul...dn't get a refund and the person I bought them from told me, "tough luck, sue me." and since small claims court would have cost more than the tickets were worth I lost 300 dollars.

My favorite Rupp Arena Even t was the Jonas Brothers. It was my first ever concert. Then I went to Miley Cyrus and just the other day I went to The Black Eyed Peas. Im addicted to music. Its just a part of me that will never leave even when music no longer exists. I would love to go to the Taylor Swift concert. I ♥ her and one of my dreams is always to meet her, I would cry and flip if I met her. Thank you, SO MUCH. I love Rupp Arena and your concerts are always so organized.

I've been to several concerts, basketball games, the circus, ice shows and I'm sure other events in Rupp. I'll never forget a UK Wildcat game...the 1st I'd been to. I was pregnant with our 1st child and we had seats in upper arena near the top! Let me just say, once I got up there and found our seats, I didn't move until the game was over!!!

I've seen some great shows at Rupp; the Black Eyed Peas were fantastic!! I've seen both Miley Cyrus shows and the Jonas Brothers were great too!! I think my favorite Rupp show was the Black Eyed Peas..it was a great show!!

My favorite times at Rupp were when I worked as an usher and saw Genesis, Rush, The Kinks (x2), Heart, Willie Nelson and tons of others from the front rows and Bruce Springsteen and Prince from the lower arena sides. Loved that job.

We w be there Thursday night to see UK exact SWEET revenge on SC. (We were there last year for the SC game as well) It will be the best night of my ENTIRE life, after Jan 22nd 2008-- my first trip to Rupp and my birthday --- in which UK beat UT!!! Go Wildcats!!!!

I went to raw in 2000 and I remember it so well cause I ended up pregnant on my trip. I would love another chance to get to go to rupp for something great.
Plus it is so hard to get the seats that I need to be able to take my children too. They are hard of hearing and seeing impaired. My little girl wanted to go to taylor swift but couldnt get the tickets for her. Love you guys.

Memories are what is created at Rupp Arena... for me it was my first concert (Tom Petty), and now in the last 9 years my daughter has made her memories of seeing numerous circus and sesame street productions. To make a great memory of me taking her to her first music concert to see Talyor Swift would be priceless. We didnt get tix before selling out sadly. Rupp is more than basketball and music!

My favorite concert i've ever been to at rupp is the jonas brothers world tour on august 23 2009!!! Another event I enjoyed was the espn gameday a couple of weekends ago. I would really like to see nick jonas and the administration at rupp..or actually i would like to see the jonas brothers come back to rupp. They put on such a good show.
