This event was not at Rupp Arena was in a crappy parking lot, with about 7 booths that belong at a flea market. The event said rain or shine, no covered seats and they were covered in rain, the first singer was awful, was a cash only event not posted on Ticket Master, was a enter once not leave again (never had that from a Ticket Master event in the past nor was it posted prior to entering the event), directions and venue posted as Rupp Arena, but neither were true. I cannot believe Ticket Master would have a flea market event posted on their website as an actual event I am floored. We requested to the “knock off” security guard (Corporal Terry-didn’t get his last name) to go back to our hotel (the Hyatt-this was a great experience) room just around the corner to be dry until Bocephus (the reason we drove 2 hours, booked a hotel room, and then did not get to see) came on stage at 8:45 pm. At which point I was screamed at for 5 minutes about how I knew it was raining when I got to the event, I proceeded to try and explain we are not from here and did not know it was not a covered event prior to entering the event as we could not see seating from entrance, nor is it posted no in and out privileges, to which the screaming security guard stated that was not his problem. I attempted to contact Ticket Master Customer service at that point and was told the venue is supposed to tell them about things like this but cannot due anything about it at this point. I called my credit card company immediately following that and we had the charges on our credit card reversed for false advertisement, harassment, and fraud. This was not worth the $100.60 we had initially paid for this event and was told by someone else that worked the event it was a $5 event the year before and they jacked up the prices this year. I guess that is why there were only a handful of people their! NEVER again will I ever do something like this; we travel all over the country for different shows both comedy and music and have had nothing but pleasant experiences at all venues both indoor and outdoor, until now. Do NOT bother to waste your money on a crappy, cheap, no thought involved event such as this nothing but disappointment can come from it!
