Currently, the lineup includes Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, Kane, CM Punk, Christian, The Great Khali, Tommy Dreamer, Melina, and Michelle McCool. There will be more people announced later, and those announced are subject to change, but it looks like a solid group of people for a long night of wrestling.

Casting Crowns Come to Rupp

July20

We just recently announced that Casting Crowns will be coming to Rupp Arena on October 8th. With Kings of Leon two days after, The Incredible Food Show the weekend before, and a yet-to-be-announced show, October is already looking to be a busy month. We are working on doing some exciting things on the blog surrounding those events, like perhaps more interviews similar to the one we did about a week ago, and an even more exciting thing that I can’t mention yet that will be the coolest thing we have done to date.

Rupp Arena Has Horsepower

July13

This past Saturday the Horsemen met helmets with the Tennessee Valley Vipers in their third to last game of the season. This game was very pivotal for both teams. If the Vipers won then they would tie for first place in the conference. If the Horsemen won then they would secure a playoff berth, and put themselves in the running to be able to steal first place in the conference as well. With some awesome scoring in the second and third quarter and some amazing defense, the Horsemen pulled out a win last Saturday. That put them on a four game winning streak with two more games left in the season. If they win their two last games they have a chance of tying for first place in the conference. Congrats Horsemen! Show your support this Saturday at their last home game.

Rupp Arena Blog Interview: The Fillies

July10

As I mentioned earlier, we had an interview with the Fillies this week. For those unaware [where have you been?], the Fillies are the cheerleaders for the Kentucky Horsemen, the arena football team that plays here at Rupp Arena. We thought since there are only two home games left (July 11th & July 18th), we would get the word out in case people wanted to catch a game, and also give you some insight into what it is to be a Fillie. Check out the interview below (click here to watch in high definition), the first of many interviews we plan to do from now on.

Wonder Girls Open For Jonas Brothers

July9

This past week, another opener was announced for the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009, which is coming to Rupp Arena on August 23rd. The Wonder Girls, an all girl dance-pop group from South Korea, will be joining Jordin Sparks and Honor Society on tour with the Jonas Brothers. With four acts, it should be a long night, but with a lot of variety. As with all the other shows, as we get closer I will start to profile each opener.

Submit Questions to the Fillies & Win!

July7

Tomorrow morning, we will be interviewing the Fillies, the cheerleaders for the Horsemen. It will be a video interview for the Rupp Arena Blog. Since this is for the blog, we want you to submit questions you would like to see answered. We will choose 5 of the questions submitted and use them (as well as some others) in the interview. If your question is chosen, you will have your name and location mentioned in the interview, and will win a pair of tickets to each of the last Horsemen home games. Sounds pretty sweet huh? All you have to do to enter is comment here with your question as well as your name and city you are from. Be sure to use your email you want us to contact you at when commenting. Each person can submit up to 5 different questions. You have until tomorrow morning at 9:00am to submit them, so don’t waste any time!

This contest is now over. Check your email to see if you won!
