It is that time again. This next week Rupp Arena will host the National City Bank KHSAA Sweet 16 ® Boys Basketball Tournament. It will be kicked off with four games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The semi-finals and finals will take place on Saturday. For the avid basketball fan, there will be plenty of games, and plenty of talent.

Those who came last year witnessed Darius Miller (who now plays for UK) and Mason County fight their way to win the 2008 Sweet 16. That’s the most amazing thing about High School basketball. There is so much potential, and since no one has been discovered, everyone is playing to the highest of their ability to catch the eyes of any recruiters looking on.
