Scarefest has officially started and is now open to the public. It is definitely something to experience. There are all sorts of booths with cool posters and art and memorabilia available, not too mention some really cool horror and paranormal celebrities. If you are thinking about going, it is open until 10pm Friday, 11am till 8pm Saturday, and 10am till 6pm on Sunday. There is plenty of time for you to go experience all it has to offer. Below is a photo of one of the people dressed up at the convention. Take into account that the picture was taken looking up at a 45 degree angle since he was wearing stilts. He is but one of the many people dressed up in some of the crazy costumes there. I can only imagine that the number will grow as the weekend moves along.
