Ringling Bros. Circus Giveaway

September12

* This Contest Has Now Ended *
Another blog giveaway is ready for the taking. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is helping us offer you an awesome experience for you and your family. The circus is coming up soon and will be at Rupp Arena from September 25 through the 28. Two runner-up winners will will each receive a family four pack of tickets to the circus on Thursday, September 25 at 7:00pm. One Grandprize winner will win a family four pack of tickets to the same show as well as a signature plush elephant (137th Edition) which is specific to each tour. In order to qualify to be one of the winners, all you need to do is follow the rules below.
The rules are simple as always:

- Leave a comment on this post.

- In your comment, tell us what you would do as your act if you joined the circus.

- Be sure to leave the comment with an email address you check frequently, since that will be how we will contact you if you are one of the winners.

The giveaway will end at 5:00pm EST on Monday, September 22. After it is over, we will take all the entries and have our super-awesome-state of the art-crazy-hydrolic-monkey operated-random-post comment-picker machine determine a winner. We have a very smart monkey, and if he detects that someone has entered the giveaway more than once then not only will they be disqualified, but they will be forced to watch videos of teeth being pulled for the next year. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment. No one want to see that happen, so be sure to enter ONLY ONCE. In the event that you are a winner, you will need to respond within 24 hours of receiving the email, otherwise we will have to find a replacement winner.

We hope that even if you aren’t one of the lucky winners, you will still come out and join us for one of the shows. Good luck to all who enter!

  • Ken Huller
The act I would take part in would have the viewers see me at a computer totally oblivious to the other surroundings. All around me things would be happening such as:
-an elephant would pick-up the platform me and my workstation sat and move me around, all the while still oblivious
-lions would enter the room and appear to be about to devour me while I still didn't see
-monkeys would come in after the lions and cause havoc all about the space without me reacting to any of it
Then to end the scene the elephant would pick the platform up and put it in a corner diminishing the importance of me and the computer act and saying "the heck with him if he doesn't see..." The circus would continue as it had been to another act and every now and again the spotlight might go back and take a look or the monkeys may take over the computer.

If I joined I would bring my two kids as " wild animals". I, of course would try to get them to obey my commands( they don't at home so maybe they would there) and do as I show them. One is 10 and the other is 2. One bothers the other one because he doesn't know better and the other just bothers for the sake of bothering. That being said, after about an hour under the big tent I would don the face of the " Sad Clown". Being both physically and mentally drained.

  • Tessa Sallee
If i joined the circus i would definately love to do something with the animals, either the lions or elephants. i've always thought that the bond between an animal and its trainer was fascinating. that, and ive only been to the circus once, and when we went my dad wouldnt let me walk down and see the elephants before the show, so i've always wanted to be touch one and to see them up close ever since, and i mean a lion is just totally cool automatically!

If I joined the circus I would have to be one of the horses. I had a pony as a child and still love horses. Now that I have reached age 54 this month it looks as though I will not be getting another pony to enjoy in my lifetime. Also, my children will attest to the fact that I am an old nag, especially where my four grandchildren are concerned. I love to tell my children how to raise their children. Yes, definitely an old nag. I believe I would be very happy as a horse in the circus. That is the job for me...
  • Melissa Bryant
If I were to join the circus, the act that I would perform would be magic tricks. I would have my husband and my two boys, who are six years old and thirteen months old be part of it. I would have them dressed in costumes and have them to reveal certain magic tricks such as pulling the bunny out of the hat, having them reveal the dove that I magically made appear from a scarf and maybe use them in a disappearing act. My main point is that any act I would perfom in the circus, I would want my husband and my boys to be part of it. They are my life. Thats why I would love to win these tickets for them. It would mean so much to my boys.
  • Jennifer Gray
Are you kidding?????I would walk a tiger across the tight rope while while sitting on his back, then we would plunge down into the ring of fire while being shot out a huge canon, all while breathing fire.

  • L. Stull
If I were in the circus I would be the ringmaster because I feel like that much of the time at home but somehow I make it work and it works well!
  • If I joined the circus, my act would be something that would honor our troops. Maybe to train eagles to fly in sync with the Star Spangled Banner with red, white and blue streamers attached to their feet.

My family would do it all. We would be flying trapese artists, lion tamers, high wire, acrobats and plenty of other death defying tricks. I can't afford to take my family so it would be a special treat for my 9 year old who has never seen the big top circus.

Hello, Bello & Friends! Welcome back to Lexington!

My adorable 8-yr-old daughter recently had hot pink highlights put in her blond hair so she fits in already at The Greatest Show on Earth! Plus she has the cutest little white Bichon/Poodle dog with brown ears named Hollywood "Boogie" Bessette.

Our circus act is a mother/daughter/dog act featuring our little dog Boogie jumping through hoops. With all 3 of us in bright, crazy-colored matching circus dresses and hot pink highlights in our hair, we would be an irresistible trio! A sure crowd-pleaser!

See you under the Big Top!

  • Sandi
We would take a hollow barrel and roll each other around the stadium over and over until we no longer can stand, then we would all fall down!
  • Andrea
My 5 year old daughter is athletic and daring so she would be one of the acrobats. My 9 year old daughter loves to be in charge so she would be the Ring Master. I think she would love to have the chance to tell me what to do for a change! I am a single mom and I work full time so I could be a juggler fo sure and the girls would love to see me dressed as a clown :)
  • Jason Monica Ashton & Land
My energetic 3 year old son and my 1 & 1/2 year old son really loved the zoo this year! I am willing to bet that the circus will be a big hit for them also. My boys are a "little shy" when it comes to a crowd so I guess we would have to stay on the sideline or pick a backstage job, for now! They both love noise & music, so maybe we could take care of the funny sounds in audio! We Can't Wait!
  • Jeremy Gray
    weee....clowns
  • Courtenay Lancaster
    I would ride the elephants!

  • Sherry Barnett
If I became part of the circus, it would have to be a mother-daughter act with the elephants! My daughter Callie is 3 and she LOVES the elephants. We would have to wear the big feather, fluffy costumes with tierras! She is all about dressing up and she watches DUMBO a lot. I think we could be a great team and it would be BIG fun, (no pun intended)!!!!!

My family is full of individual talent. Our 4 year old little girl could probably run in a wheel for the whole show- and never tire out!!

My 1 year old son seems to have the ability to fall off anything and spring right back up.

I, as the Mom, can apparently stretch in untold positions and hold 2 children simultaneously (it could rival the tiger tamer)

and my poor husband is the ringmaster!!
  • Chris
If I joined the circus, I would be a lion tamer. Looks like a lot of dangerous fun.
  • Anne
I would be a normal individual on one side while on the other side is an over stressed Mom of 3 ... between providing the normal daily life of being a loving mother who wants her kids to have fun and be well rounded and then the reality of homework, after school sports, music lessons who wouldn't find a bit of humor in our CRAZY "normal" life style????
  • Tracy
I would love to walk the tightrope!
  • Stacy Muir
We would be a trained puppy act. We have a house full of small dogs!
  • Michael
Our 4 year old would drive a front-loader around the circus rink while performing a rocking drum solo!
  • Sara
I have never been to the Ringling Brothers! I would want to do the high wire act!
  • Jacob Reynolds
If I were in the circus I would be the elephant trainer.
  • K & K's Mommy
I would volunteer my husband to ride the motorcycles--he is a motorcycle freak!!!
  • Jade
I would fly through the air in a pink clownsuit while holding a monkey dressed in a tutu to the sounds of "Come fly with me" by Frank Sinatra
  • K & K's Mommy
I asked my children what they would like to do if they were a part of the circus and this is what they said---6 year old daughter would like to do tricks on an elephants back and my 5 year old daughter would like to swing from the rings like an acrobat. My daughters absolutely love the circus, we would truly love to win these tickets!!!! Thanks for doing this (Even if we don't win, this is a nice thing to do!!).
  • Meagan

there would be a stunt person, girl who does tricks on horses, trapze girls, and a clown. It would be great if i could take them.
  • Brianna R
My 8 year old daughter said that if she could join the circus she would make her hair really funky, her shirt and pants would be red, white and blue like the flag. She would then be shot out of the cannon doing tricks. ("Since I dance, I would maybe even try to shoot myself from the cannon onto the tight rope!")And her best friend would be there to take lots of pictures.
  • JoEllen Murphree
Come to my house any day of the week and you might just see your own little circus! I have three little clowns--who keep me on my toes; my husband, who would have to be the ringmaster for sure; and I would be the juggler--keeping all the appointments, classes, places to be, etc. in line and on-schedule!

That's what we would definitely be on any given day of the week . . . but ohhhh, the circus is special! It only comes to town maybe once a year. Lets live a little--get out of the ordinary box!

My girls would want to work with the animals, all three of them! The oldest is fascinated with monkeys (she would be a monkey trainer); the middle one loves, loves, loves elephants (and we have our beautiful lady on the elephant); and my littlests one loves kitties (dare I say our lion tamer!). Oh, and let me give my husband the job of motorcycle stunt driver--he loves motorcycles and I just know for once in his life he would love to be that crazy! And me--I need to face my fears head on--so I would be a tightrope walker (just for the day).

A very special day out of the ordinary . . . isn't that so much of what the circus is about! Where your imagination can soar and your senses can be delighted. I can just smell the aroma of cotton candy and popcorn now!

  • Peg
I would do a time travel act. My husband, age 35, would step behind a curtain and reappear as a 4 year old. Ok, so the 4year old is my son, but they look amazingly alike. And then, "presto, chango" or other good circus words, turn him back into a 35 year old again!
  • ginger parks
Our act would be a family act of horseback riding tumblers. It would involve turning flips and tumbling while on horseback. I'm thinking my 11 yr old daughter thinks of our house as a circus since there are three teenage boys in the house. Might be good if she enjoyed a different kind of circus. She loves and has a connection with all animals. Performing with any animals especially horses may be something she does as a career. Only thing is you cant ask her to join until she grows up lol.
  • Michelle

I said into a pool of RC Cola with Moon Pies floating in the Cola.....THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH, PERIOD!!!
  • Joyce Fister Daley
    Hello,

My husbannd and I watched Celebrity Circus from start to finish. It was a thrill to see Antonio Sabato Jr. perform. We now know how much work goes into the performance behing the scenes.

  • Kelly Foreman
If I were to join the circus, I would be a leopard trainer. My dad took me to the Ringling Brothers circus as a child (also at Rupp Arena) after my mom died of cancer. He bought me a stuffed leopard, which I have kept all these years. Since my dad is gone now, too, I would love for my 3-year-old daughter to watch her mommy work with the leopards like the stuffed leopard that now has been passed along to her with his "Greatest Show on Earth" tag still securely attached to his ear.

My four year old daughter absolutley love animals more than anything!! it woudbe the ultimate experience for to be there. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to have a chance to go to the circus!!!!!
  • My two 8 year old boys say they would first stand their hair up like the Bellobration Star then start out by letting their "old dad guy" hold them up one on each arm. Tossing them each up to an elephant for a final ride & wave around the ring...now I am of the opinion that the "old dad guy" should have to attempt this while tending to our newborn (6 week old) daughter in his Snugli pack he loves to carry her in so much...oh and the more talkative one says "mom you can stand on the side lines and cheer us on if you want to while you hold Emma (the baby sis)"...lol nothing like a circus event through the eyes of 8 year olds!!!
  • Sheltina Hart
My family wants to be clowns on the tightrope.
  • Amanda M
OH MY GOSH! THE CIRCUS IS COMING BACK TO TOWN!!! YAYYYY!!

I have a 5 year old boy and a 2 year old girl that likes nothing better than acting silly and laughing. Well, they act like their mommy! LOL! I think we would make the greatest and funniest clowns ever. My son has the wildest imagination, so he could give the audience a great show by himself. We could do the crazy clowns on the trampoline while my husband clown walked the tight rope on stilts. Now wouldn't that be something to see?!?

We would really love to come and see your show. The kids would absolutely love the animals and clowns and acrobats and......well.........all of it. It would be an awesome experience for them.
  • Kelly Haga
As a family we would dress up like dancing pigs that sing opera.....our 3 yr. old would keep falling down and we would have to pick her up...when we picked her up, the brother and sister would fall down....we would never be able to get everyone standing and singing at the same time.....

They're little; I think we could do it!!!! However, we would have to be the only clowns in the whole circus because clowns totally creep me out. :(
  • Mary Ann

  • Janet Fields
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus is where I would be an Acrobatic Banana. I heard you had a super-awesome-state of the art-crazy-hydraulic- monkey operated random-post- comment - picker machine, who will be determining the winner of 4 fantastic-particularly spectacular tickets to the greatest show on earth. Including a delovely-delightful-desireable signature elephant. This high falootin'-fancy footin'-rootin'-tootin'-bounteous Banana is bound to be a slippery-slide-in- capable of enticing any Monkey Operated Pickin' Machine.
  • Julie
I just asked my son what he would be if he could join the circus and he replied that he would be a clown so he could be a clown and make me laugh! Sweet!

  • Tina Moberly
My circus act would not include any clowns. I don't want to offend any well-meaning clowns out there....but you guys really scare me.
I think I'd prefer a trapeze act, my toddler would like to ride an elephant, my teenager would enjoy the horses and my husband could tame the lions.
  • Andrea Williams
I would be a magician/illusionist love to watch that stuff.
  • Christian
    I would be the ringmaster!
  • Maria
I would be a lion Tamer!

I would perform the act of "Being an Awesome Granny". I would comb a child's hair, while I wiped another's nose and extracted a foreign object from another's mouth. At the same time I would be placing an order on my computer and talking on my cell phone. Of course I would also be watching "General Hospital" on the tube. But then, that's real life.

a clown, people tell me I am a joke.
  • Tammy Webb
If this family of five were to join the circus it would probably go like this: I would be the fat lady and dance around with my parasol and also a juggler. As a mother of 3 children I can juggle schedules, work, basketball, baseball and even the house work. Yea ME!!!!!! My husband would be the ringmaster. He always makes his presence known and would look very good in the outfit. My son would be the strong man. He is always doing things he shouldn’t and thinks he can do anything. My oldest daughter would be the mime. Always hides behind a mask and doesn’t say much but is liked by everybody. The baby girl would be the clown. She is always getting herself into places she should never fit and is able to make everybody laugh. Her love of life and smile can light up a whole room.
  • Bridgette Combs
I would love to be one of the Chinese Acrobats in the circus! I am amazed at their flexibilty level! It may be a stretch though--I am 5'7 and weigh 135 pounds!!

    Bridgette
  • Paige O'Brien
I would be a mom, with 4 kids it is a circus around here everyday. Its amazing how I can get them all up and ready for school on time. Its a 3 ring circus when they come home from school (Or a 4 ring in my case) And its like walking a tight rope, when its time for homework. Who brought it home and who's going to do it? Its the fantastic, awesome work of a mom!!!
  • Sherry Wallace
I would have to be a clown so I can make the kids laugh and pretend to throw a bucket of water at people and make animal ballons ( if I could learn how too) ! My daughter would love to be the acrobat , She is a gymnastic finatic! We really want to see yur show!!
  • Jessica Swafford
I would love to be the human canon ball! I've always wanted to fly.

  • Brady Fields
"Presenting the most amazing, daring & youngest human cannon baller ever - 4 year old Brady Fields!!!"
  • Anita
I would be a aerialist/tight rope walker or a flame dancer because they are one of the most exciting parts of the circus other than the big cats.
  • Bobbi Sharon
If I had an act in the circus, I would do back flips while my Siberian Husky howled "I love you" while my son, Blake played guitar, While my daughter Madison sang "Strawberry Fields Forever" while at the same time my husband swallowed fire!!!! Now that would be a show!! We would LOVE to see this show!
  • Amanda M.
If I was in the circus......I would like to work with the animals, probaly the dogs or the elephants, but I don't want to be a p**per scooper!!!!
  • Valorie Osborne
My circus act would involve my 2 year old twin granddaughters. They love to swing and dance so we would be a dancing troupe that included 'swinging high' .

  • Kerri Neff
I would jump through a ring of fire while riding an elephant with a monkey on the back.
  • Sarah B
I would drive the little car and use my turn signal, then have the monkeys and clowns do it as there are a lot of monkeys and clowns on the road that don't know how to use their turn signal!
  • TOMMY POOLE
I would liek to be a cl;own as that way getting out to meet all types of children and individuals that come to view and watch all the acts. So many kids and people go through so much stress every day and having the chance to go out and perform and put a big smile on their faces would be the ultimate thing , They say it takes less muscles to smile than it goes to frown.I remember a movie with my favorite comedian Jerry Lewis being a clown in the circus and he tried to get a little girl to smile as she had never dome it before. He tried everything in the world possible to get her to it then finally he broke down and had a tear streaming from his eye and the girl busted out laughing and giggling well they had asked why she was doing that and it was becuase Jerry the clown was crying. If that is what it took to get someone to laugh or giggle I would be doing it everyday crying. I would love o win tickets to the Greatest Show on Earth so I cansee my 3 yr old grandson expereince and see the best people in the buisness do there jobs.
  • Heather Rudder
My son and husband would be firefighter clowns that does something with water...like squirting the crowd! I think my daughter would be jumping around on something. I would probably be a clown since I love to be goofy and make people laugh especially kids!
  • Stan Smith
I'm not sure what I would be. I have never been to or seen a circus, except on tv. The most favorite thing for me to watch on tv was the high wire walks. They have to be so precise and have great balance. I would be in the high wire act and be thankful there is a net that will catch me when I fall, 'cause I wouldn't make the first step without losing balance.
  • Joseph Williams
I would be a comedy clown that interacts with the kids. Childrens laughter is priceless, thus my job satisfaction is guaranteed.
  • Mary Beth Abrams
My family and I would probably enjoy being clowns.
  • jayJay
I would be standing riding on the back of the stallions! I would wear sequins and do all types of gymnastics. Of course, first I would have to learn how to stand on the horse, but being from Ky it would have to involve horses!

I would have a dog act. They would jump thru hoops and do tricks.
I would have them do little ballet dances.
They would ride on the back of ponies.

  • Tanya Carter
If I would have to say either Lion Tamer, not only do I love lions.. but it would be a neat expeirence to be able to say.. "Yeah .. i know how to tame a lion.." can you?.. But this will be my kids first experience at a circus! My son who is 2 1/2 and daughter who is 9 months.. And I havent been to a circus in years!!! This will be exciting!
  • Darius Ball
Several years ago my family and I went to the circus. I find it hard to believe that someone could be a better clown than the one we saw that night, but I would like to give it a try. My six year old said that he would want to juggle while riding a one wheeled bike across a tight rope. My four year old just wants to juggle. My wife said that she would like to "fly through the air with the greatest of ease on the flying trapese."
  • Philip Huffer
i would try to tame the amazing wild boy!(my son,3)
see him never back down and run faster thatn a speeding bullet
and my daughter(5)says she would be a princess
  • Seth
My mom bought me a unicycle once, so I guess I would finally take the hint, join the circus, and ride the unicycle. And I would juggle something, since I can do that a little. I'd ride the unicycle and juggle chainsaws. Or monkeys. I'll dust off the unicycle and practice my juggling. And look for some monkeys...
  • kristi barrett
I would love to be a clown- to be disguised and act silly, making everyone laugh. What a job!
  • karen hudson
I have absolutely no physical strength or talent, so I guess I would be cleaning up the elephant poop.
  • Brenda Turner
My husband should most definitely join the circus for he has a rare talent to be seen by all ages. He can magically clear a room without giving a sign. He can roar with each step he takes, without speaking a word. He can choke my daughter without laying a finger on her. Luckily, I have found his secret. Feed him soupbeans the night before and your circus act is good to go.

The unique part would be that I would be riding on HIS shoulders rather than him on mine. (He's strong) My wife and 6 year old daugher would work with the lions. Rather than putting their heads in the lions mouth, they would let the lions put their heads in their mouths. ( In no way am I implying my wife has a big mouth) We'd be the hit of the circus.

If we could join the circus,

    We'd have a Bellobration
    and the family'd scream YAHOO..

We join in all the fun
    Have a real great time
We'd eat up all there was to do
    Soak it up like sunshine.

    From clowns to tigers
    Animals galore
    We giggle and laugh
till we fell to the floor!

    Acrobats and fireworks
Oh what a show it'd be
We'd be so excited that we'd
    have to go...

    Peanuts and popcorn
we'd have to have some more,
    Mr. Monkey let us win
or we'll thow poopy at the door!!!

I would try to have my "animals" do some really cool tricks, but instead they would do something funny. Example........As the "trainer" I would try to have my "animals" jump thru a ring of fire... instead my "animals" would put out the fire by throwing water or some how blowing it out. • JOHN CROMER
i would tame the lions and let my son ride them. that's his idea of fun at the circus.
  • Susan
If I were to perform an act it would be an acrobatic one or a trapeze artist, because I think that is what they are, artists in the air.
If that didn't work out I know I could be a lion tamer, because I love the 'big cats'
and I am very good with animals.
  • Marcella Stafford
If I were part of the circus, I would definitely work with the cats because I think they are so beautiful and graceful.
  • SMILEY RILEYS
DREW WOULD BE RINGMASTER (cause at 5 he thinks he is in charge)
MOM would be a lion tamer (loves to crack the whip)
  • Johnna
This is for my Sister. She/we would be clowns. We met some clowns from RB&BB Circus in 1978/1979. We got to tour the circus train. Ever since then she has been a clown fanatic. She has a collection of every size and shape of a clown that is made. We did get to be "honorary" clowns at a festival in downtown Lexington. She kept in contact for many years with some of the performers. I would love for her grandchildren to be in the audience and get to see his Gramma being a clown. Yes they dress up as clowns at halloween. (Her & her husband made the costumes).
  • Melissa
I have always been in awe of the trapeze artists. Everything about that is just amazing to me. From the beautiful women in the gorgeous costumes to the strength of the men there to catch them....it's just pure enjoyment for me. It would be difficult for me to do since I am afraid of heights but if it were possible that would be my dream if I were to join the circus.
  • Alicia
I'm a busy working Mom with 2 boys, ages 3 and 4, so for my act I guess I would juggle. Although my sort of juggling is simultaneously making dinner for four, while answering work e-mails / trying to keep both boys entertained / picking up the huge pile of toys that accumulated in every room during the course of the day / breaking up an argument over a toy / doing laundry / and looking like it was all a breeze when dear hubby walks thru the door at 6:30pm, whew!! :-)
  • Danielle Turner

I would be a clown! They now how to have fun:)
  • Monica Jones
If I joined the circus I'd definately have to do a trapeze act. I always loved watching those on TV. Flying high in the air above everyone would be the coolest thing. When can I start?
  • Charlotte Delaney
I would love to win these tickets because my seven year old Granddaughter just this past tuesday under went surgery for cancer. The doctor told her to tell everyone that her leg looks like a shark bite. After what's she's been through I know a little clowning around with the circus would be just what the doctor ordered.

    Thank you for considering us.
    God Bless

  • Lucy Langdon
I would be nurse nit-wit (clown) who gives exams to willing patients (crowd) . I would have to start an IV - stat (wrap an ivy around their arm) , give them a cat scan (run a stuffed kitten doll over them), take a stool sample (pull their stool their sitting on out from under them) and then give them a clean bill of health.
  • Heather Cox
If I were to join the circus, I would want to be a circus clown, to make all the little kids laugh! My daughter really enjoyed the clowns last year, and she is looking forward to them again this year! (PS - Those big old clown shoes would probably help me to be less clumsy, too!)
  • Renee
I would work with monkeys since that is what I work with daily! :)
  • Sommer Whitlow
I would let my 2 year old son loose on stage. Just watching me chase him like a crazy woman is an act of it own.
  • Maya
I love the high wire people. Their outfits are so cool! It is kind of scary and very exciting to watch them. They are so pretty!
  • Kate Berry
I would be a tight rope walker!!
  • Kim Kintz
I would be part of an act with my family, We would dress silly and each have a very special 2-3 minute AMAZING(crowd oowing) talent that we would show off during that circus down time while the big acts are getting ready.
  • Shannon
I'm pretty sure I'm already in the circus with my two little acrobats/clowns. My oldest is turning six that day so it would be great if she could celebrate her special day at the circus!
  • I would ride a wheelies on my Honda 50 dirt bike across a 2 by 10 board 20-40ft. in the air over a net of course. Do stunts around the arena.

  • Sharon Keys
If I were in the circus I would head the concession and souvenirs stand and make items that were really tasty and not so expensive.
  • cassie

  • Rebecca
I would bring my two jack russell puppies to be circus dogs! Their best trick would definitely be to "play dead!"
  • Samantha
I would have to leave the talent to my kids becuase I have absolutely none. My 8 year old daughter could be a contortionist because she is the most flexible person I've ever met. My 12 year old daughter could be a mermaid. Just give her a clear tank of water and watch all of her awesome underwater moves.
  • I'd love to be a clown. I'm too afraid of heights to do too many things up high. Plus I have not one athletic bone in my body!
  • L.Ellis
If my family joined the circus then we would do a re-enactment of Dumbo with all the clowns.
  • Rose Cohelia

I would most definitly work with the Elephants! They Rock!
  • dusti
if i was to join the circus i would love to tame the tigers. i watched last year as the woman was in with the white tigers and thought "you go girl!" that would be just the coolest thing to be able to be in the cage with 8 tigers and be able to tell then to roll over and no! and they listen to you....in case they didn't listen to me i guess i could always be the one legged clown because i am sure that i what i would lose if i was in the cage with tigers. i love the circus even though i have two youngs kids of my own!
  • Christina
I would show the audience a gorilla that can do dishes and sometimes laundry if all his socks are dirty. Then I would astonish the audience when I reveal that the gorilla is really my very hairy husband.
  • Rejetta
I would have to be the "Fat Lady", since that is the closest thing to a talent I have for a Circus Act. ;-)
  • Erika
My family would definately join the horse act. We love horses and do all things on them from barrel racing, trail riding and even western shooting, so it would be a great show with us on the horses.

Just being there in the middle of the entire show would be fantastic. Elephant rides would be fun too...
  • My wife's 30th birthday is next weekend and she wants to go to the circus. I think this is a weird psychological ploy to make herself still feel like a child. I want to see her perform a little bit... i think she should ride an elephant. she is terribly scared of heights, so a swing from the ropes or a short walk on the tight rope, might make her think twice about joining the circus... we will be there regardless if i win this package, but can you guys help with some embarrassment and humiliation???
  • Andrea
If I were to be in the circus I would love to be a clown or one of the girls that gets to dance with the elephats.. I would just want to do anything to make the kids smile and have a wonderful time.
  • Crystal M. Anderson
I am 26 years old...yes 26 and I would love to go to this event!

If I joined the circus I would have to be the anouncer. I say this because I don't really have a special talent other then what I do at my day job which is in the business field as a child support caseworker! I don't think that would be interesting for anyone to watch!

Now, the reason that I want to go to the circus is because I have found it interesting ever since I lived in Germany as a child and didn't get to attend the circus that came to the Erlangen Military base. This is an experiance that I think everyone should have and I am very much ready and excited about the possibility of attending!

Thank you for taking your time to ready my post.
  • Casey B
A circus act? I would probably either be a big cat tamer, or a trapeeze artist. I love kitties, and I think it would be a great opportunity to work with such amazing creatures. Plus..they're so cute!!
A trapeeze artist would be second pick. I'm on the dive team at my high school, and I think it would be such a rush to do all the aerobatics that I normally do, but without any water under me.

We're already a bit of a circus at our house, because after just having moved to Lexington (and waiting to sell our house in another city) we're stuffed into a townhouse far too small. So we'd be the clowns that come in the tiny car, and we'd pop out with confetti, laughing hard because we can finally breathe - but also just because we love to laugh.
  • Emily Durr
With my family....if we joined the circus, we would want to do it all!! We would want to be the clowns, ride the elephants, do tricks with the tigers, shoot each other out of the cannons, walk the tightrope, hang from the ceiling on ropes spinning out of control...if it could be done we would want to try it.
  • Jennifer
I have the perfect circus act! In the ring would be my family. Everyone could watch in amazement while I do the things I do every day! It will be a wonder as they experience all I can accomplish with two little ones at home.
Do the dishes, wipe a nose, clean up apple juice, change a diaper, answer the phone, reheat my cup of coffee, write out the bills, wipe a bottom, dry a tear, mop the floor, reheat my cup of coffee, break up a fight, read a board book, kiss a boo-boo, remind someone to say "thank-you," scrub a toilet, make a snack, direct someone to "time-out," reheat my cup of coffee, answer the door, wipe hand prints off the wall, feed the cat, make beds, make lunch...
    All in about 10 minutes!
  • Gina

Ringling Bros. Circus Giveaway- Hello all-

If I were to join a circus and do my own act I would play my nose. I am very talented in making such sweet melodious music come from my nose. I play with my daughter sometimes and she LOVES it. I once roped my brother into doing this with me for my grandparents 50th anniversary, he was my the alto and I soprano. It was such a fun experience to it in harmonies. :oP

    Thank you-

    Terri

  • Andrew Daugherty
