This Is Your Blog Live, Any Questions?
August 14, 2008 by Paul Hooper
We have opened up a new section of the site we call the “Live Blog.” It is laid out similar to a standard blog (like this site used to be) having the most recent post at the top, and older posts sequentially down the page. The biggest difference is, all the posts will be live from events. Since there is a Wordpress application for the iPhone, we are able to post from anywhere. Don’t worry, these posts won’t be simple paragraphs of text. The application allows you to take photos on-the-fly and attach them to the post. That means that we will be able to snap some quick photos from anywhere (within the specific event’s limitations), throw some descriptive text under it, and post it for you to check out. Maybe you are unable to make it to a specific concert that you really wanted to go to. You can lick your wounds by following along with our quick updates from the show. If you are attending the event, then maybe you will spot yourself in one of the photos.
Consider this new section of the site extremely experimental and open ended. Since we can post quick updates from anywhere then it will have a wide variety of photos and posts for you to eat up. Also, please feel free to comment, even if it is a short little blurb. The Live Blog is meant to be as interactive as possible so we will be actively posting, reading your comments, and commenting back.

Anyone heard if there will be a New Year’s Eve 2008 concert at Rupp Arena?
