Jared Niemann gave his own country flare from the very beginning. He wasn’t wearing the typical cowboy hat, like most of the guys in Rupp Arena. Niemann was a hot opening act and wearing a baseball cap. It was a laid back scene until sang his single hit “Lover, Lover.” Even though he was first on stage, his music was popular and everyone knew the words. With Brad Paisley’s Virtual Reality Tour just days away, it’s time to get to know the two opening acts accompanying Mr. Paisley to Rupp Arena. Of course, these two acts probably need no introduction. The Band Perry has won three CMAs, including Best New Artist of the year and Best Single of the Year. And Scott McCreery shot to fame after a wonderful run on the popular televised singing competition, American Idol. So, what else is there to know about these two supporting artists?
Brad Paisley is a natural at this. He started playing country music as soon as he could hold a guitar and since then, he hasn’t stopped. With 8 studio albums released and nineteen number 1 hits under his belt, Brad is certainly at a career peak. And now with his Virtual Reality World Tour selling out everywhere it goes, it seems that the big question is, “What will Brad do next?”
The increase in downtown Lexington traffic this Wednesday evening was due to Drake and the Club Paradise Tour packing Rupp Arena.
